You're right Chris, but not just using AI. Attackers are using AI to uncover vulnerabilities in your everyday devices, which makes them vulnerable without you even knowing. And yes, the little guy was always the most accessible victim. On the flip side, defenders have the same tools, so as long as OEMs and developers exercise their due diligence, things should not be that bad. I guess we'll live and see how this goes.
